A hands on father, soulmate, good friend, and passionate protector of those whom he loved

Tribute Bio

Eddie Junay Adams Jnr IV

1978 - 2020

Eddie, affectionately known as "Water" to his close associates was a hands on father, soulmate, good friend, and passionate protector of those whom he loved and cared about. His life was cut short by a tragic hit and run accident in Phoenix, Arizona. A special viewing was held Friday May 1st, 2020 at Samaritian Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Eddie loved listening to music, laughing, being with his family and friends, barbecuing, entertaining and enjoying the company of the ones he loved. He enjoyed playing with his children, spending time with them, and taking them to explore learning and fun filled venues. He loved his children with all of his heart and soul and they loved him more.

In addition to his biological parents, Jocelyn P. Adams-Grantham and Eddie Adams III, he leaves to cherish sweet memories; Only surviving grandmother Lelia B. Adams; Aunts Shirley Hoilett, Lolita Bright, Alease Adams, Regina Adams,Terra Harris-Young and Carmen Marero; Uncles Van Harris, Victor Davis, Dana Harris; Stepfather John Grantham; Stepmother Ruth Adams; Siblings Pina Harris and Jamila Adams; Soulmate Trynette Harris; Children Aashia, Tamiea, Najae and Cameron Adams; Nieces and Nephews Shanesa and Dakari Harris, Maliyah, Madilyn and Mylan Adams; Great Niece; Sa'Riyah Harris. He was preceded in death by Grandfathers Turner W. Harris, Eddie Adams Jr; Grandmothers Lula Simpson, Mary Powell; Uncles Donald Younger, Marcus Adams, Prentice Harris, Warren "Junebug" Harris; Cousin Jonathan Parker and many other dear relatives. Eddie leaves a vast array of Friends, Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins, too many to name on both sides of the Harris and Adams families.

The Harris and Adams families would like to thank all who came out to show their love and support to us during this difficult time. We appreciate the numerous calls, texts, encouraging scriptures, cards and gifts we have received from friends and relatives from many states. Most of all, we look forward to seeing Eddie again in "a new world where righteousness is to dwell." 2Peter 3:13
